Optical Beam Position and Power Measurement System.


New hardware configuration: a portable, fast and accurate positioning system having USB2.0 interface. The system has a new hardware with 24 bit A/D, power input via USB port. It offers simultaneous operation of one or two PSD's in one system based on Lateral Effect or Four-Quadrant PSD's. The update rate is maximum 150 Hz using the 500 Hz digital filter. The spectral range is 350-1100nm.

SpotOn CCD

Expanding your positioning capabilities.


New hardware configuration: a USB 2.0 adapter replacing the need for the PCI card and enabling operation of the system on any Laptop computer. Enjoy a high-resolution positioning device on a portable platform!

High accuracy beam centroid measurement system, capable of measuring up to 3 beams simultaneously. The system measures both CW and pulsed beams over a wide spectral range: from UV through near IR.

Complete system, including a plug-in PCI card or USB 2.0 attachment, a CCD camera (1/2'' size), with attached cable, a set of 2xNG10 filters in housing, operating software for Windows, carrying case, user manual.

SpotOn Analog

For fast and extremely accurate laser position sensing.

To complete the line of computerized optical beam positioning, this new configuration enables:
  • Analog positioning
  • High frequency optical alignment
  • The update rate is up to 30 KHz for the 9mm x 9mm PSD and up to 60KHz for the 4mm x 4mm PSD. The resolution is 1 µm. Measures both CW and pulsed lasers.

A new configuration offering A/D via USB interface and complementary Windows application program enables full analysis of beam position at a rate of up to 4 kHz (digital version).

Complete system based on a Lateral Effect detector, with a 3m long cable and an electronics box.

SpotOn Analog USB

For fast and extremely accurate laser position sensing.

To complete the line of computerized optical beam positioning, this new configuration enables:
  • Parallel modes of operation: analog and digital
  • Real time measurement of laser displacement down to +/- 0.1 µm
  • Built in high precision power supply
  • The update rate is up to 30 KHz for the 9mm x 9mm PSD and up to 60KHz for the 4mm x 4mm PSD. The resolution is 1 µm. Measures both CW and pulsed lasers.
  • External trigger for synchronized data acquisition
  • Multiple device control via USB (up to 8 devices)
  • TCP/IP Communication protocol and remote control
  • ActiveX software for integration in customer's application program.

Complete system based on a Lateral Effect detector, with a 3m long cable and an electronics box.
The Low type module operates at low amplification of 10µW - 2500µW. 
The High type module operates at high amplification of1µW - 250µW.

NEW ! Special High resolution limited dynamic range models recently introduced: +/-0.1 µm for 4 x 4mm PSD, or +/-0.2µm for 9 x 9mm PSD.

A novel design for wide measurement range.

A custom 20mmX20mm Lateral Effect detector in housing with an optical expander and attached cable. The maximal measurable beam size is 22mm diameter. The new head is operational with the following systems:

   -SpotOn Analog
   -SpotOn Analog USB
